Recently, there have been reports in the news about increased violence in Mexico due to clashes between the Mexican military and the drug cartels.   The Swine Flu issue has also been very widely publicized recently and may also be of concern as you decide on a Mexico missions trip.   We feel it would be irresponsible for us not to address these issues.

We want to assure you that the ROCKHARBOR Mexico leadership and the ROCKHARBOR Reach leadership are aware.   We are actively monitoring the news, government sites, speaking with contacts in country, and praying about the situations.

At this time we feel our groups are safe considering the size of our groups and the area we visit has not been effected by these issues.   Regardless, it helps us stress the fact that we need to stay together while traveling and while we are in Rojo Gomez.

Rest assured that we will continue to monitor the situation and we will not hesitate to suspend our trips if necessary.   Above all things, keep our team and Mexico in your prayers as we prepare for our trips.
