One-Day Trip

One-day trips are offered around six to eight times a year. On these trips we go out and complete short outreach projects for the people in and around El Nino, Mexico. Some of the projects on these trips include building/repairing, painting, evangelism, children’s ministry and soccer. We are constantly looking for new ways to serve the Mexican people and show them who Christ is.

These trips are a great way to serve the lord. They also provide a perfect stepping stone for people who are interested in serving a longer mission trip, be it a build trip with Mexico or another trip within Global Reach.

One-day trips are typically announced three weeks in advance. They are offered on a first come basis. You are responsible for a $35 non-refundable deposit, which covers gas and insurance. We can’t reserve your spot until we have the $35.

Weekend Trip (Build Trip)

Weekend trips are typically offered quarterly. These trips provide an opportunity to dive deeper into the mission field and are typically scheduled Friday through Sunday. We leave early in the morning on Friday and head to the El Nino, Mexico. For those people who cannot leave in the morning we have an evening team that leaves around 5pm, though we recommend leaving in the AM.

The main focus of the weekend trip is to build. Depending on the how big our team is we will build one or two homes during the weekend. Building does not require any experience. All we ask is for you to be open to working hard and learning new things. We also participate in other activities including a soccer camp, a vacation bible school, evangelism and more.

Weekend trips are typically announced three months in advance. They are offered on a first come basis. You are responsible to cover a $100 non-refundable deposit, which covers food, lodging, and travel. You will also be raising $350 through support letters to help us cover the cost of building materials. We can’t reserve your spot until we have the $100 deposit and an application on file.

Weeklong Trip (Extended Build Trip)

Weeklong trips are occasionally offered. These trips are an extended version of a weekend trip and are more intensive. They typically involve a house build as well as many other service projects that bring love and opportunities to the people of Mexico.

Costs for weeklong trips vary and will be announced months before the trip.
